DScholar Press International operates as a hybrid academic publishing house, offering both electronic digital publishing (Open Access e-books, monographs, and journals) and physical print-on-demand services (author complimentary copies, print monographs, and institutional bound volumes). This policy outlines the fulfillment timelines, delivery mechanisms, and shipping protocols for all digital assets and physical publications.

2. Physical Print Shipping & Fulfillment

For authors, editors, and institutions requesting physical printed books, conference proceedings, or hardbound volumes:

• Production & Printing Lead Time: Physical books are produced via print-on-demand partners. Printing and binding typically require 7 to 10 business days post-publication.
• Domestic Shipping (India): Printed book delivery across India is 100% Free. All domestic shipments are dispatched via national courier partners (e.g., India Post Speed Post, Blue Dart, Delhivery) at no additional postage or handling cost to the author or buyer. Delivery typically takes 5 to 9 business days after dispatch.
• International Shipping (Overseas): Overseas orders and international author copies require payment of Shipping and Handling Charges. Deliveries are dispatched via international courier carriers (e.g., DHL Express, FedEx, India Post EMS). International transit times range from 10 to 20 business days, subject to destination customs processing.

Once a physical shipment is dispatched, an official email containing the courier partner details and a tracking number (AWB/Consignment Number) will be sent to the recipient. Recipients can track their package status directly via the courier provider's online portal.

DScholar Press International takes utmost care in packaging print volumes to prevent damage during transit:

• Damaged/Defective Copies: If a physical book arrives with severe binding defects or physical transit damage, notify the press within 7 days of receipt with photographic proof. A replacement copy will be printed and shipped at no extra charge.
• Lost in Transit: If a package is confirmed lost by the courier carrier, the press will re-dispatch a replacement print copy after carrier verification.
