We maintain technical and metadata standards so all published volumes and chapters are archived, searchable, and indexed across academic discovery networks.
Default & Immediate Indexing
Upon publication, all books and chapters published by Dscholar Press International are indexed and registered across academic discovery services:
- Google Scholar: All published books, monographs, and individual book chapters are indexed by Google Scholar crawlers upon publication.
- Crossref Metadata Services: As a Crossref member, every published volume and chapter is assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI). Metadata deposited with Crossref is accessible to the scholarly ecosystem.
Automated & Secondary Indexing via Crossref DOI Metadata
Because Dscholar Press International registers metadata directly with Crossref, all published titles are harvested, ingested, or synced into the following discovery databases and research infrastructure networks:

Press Responsibilities & Metadata Standards
Dscholar Press International provides:
- Machine-readable ONIX and JATS/BITS XML metadata formats for library and index harvesting.
- Open Access licensing information (Creative Commons) embedded into volume and chapter metadata.
- Metadata deposits including abstracts, chapter reference lists, author affiliations, ORCID iDs, and funding acknowledgments.
