DScholar Press International is dedicated to the principle that public access to research fosters a robust global exchange of knowledge. Our Open Access framework ensures that academic monographs, edited volumes, conference proceedings, and working papers are made freely, permanently, and immediately accessible to readers worldwide without subscription or paywall barriers.

1. Open Access Model & Immediate Availability

All publications released under our Open Access imprint are published digitally under the Gold Open Access model. Key features of our commitment include:

  • Immediate Full-Text Access: Digital editions (PDF/EPUB) are freely available on our platform upon official publication with no embargo periods.
  • Unrestricted Reuse: Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles and book chapters without requesting prior permission, provided proper attribution is maintained.
  • Global Visibility & Indexing: Published metadata and full-text files are submitted to international academic registries and indexing engines to maximize citation and global research impact.

2. Licensing Framework

To guarantee both open reuse rights and author protection, DScholar Press International standardizes its publications on Creative Commons licenses (primarily CC BY-SA 4.0). Authors retain full copyright ownership while granting the public authorization to share and adapt the material under clear scholarly standards.

3. Green Open Access & Self-Archiving Rights

We actively support self-archiving by authors (Green Open Access) to further expand research dissemination across institutional networks.

Repository Deposit Guidelines:

  • Allowed Versions: Authors are permitted to deposit the final published PDF (Version of Record) or the peer-reviewed accepted manuscript.
  • Permitted Platforms: Institutional repositories, funder repositories (e.g., PubMed Central), personal websites, and scholarly social networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu).
  • Attribution Requirement: The deposited item must include a full bibliographic citation and an active Digital Object Identifier (DOI) link pointing to the official publication on the DScholar Press International portal.

4. Publication Sustainability & Independence

Open access publication costs (peer review coordination, typesetting, DOI registration, and digital hosting) are supported through transparent Manuscript Processing Fees (MPFs), institutional grants, or book processing charges. Editorial evaluation and peer review decisions operate with strict independence from fee payments to ensure academic excellence remain the sole standard for publication.
