Copyright and Licensing Policy

DScholar Press International operates an open-access publishing framework designed to promote global research distribution while upholding rigorous copyright protection for authors and the press.

1. Creative Commons Licensing (CC BY-SA 4.0)

Unless otherwise explicitly indicated, published works are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Terms of Reuse under CC BY-SA 4.0

  • Share: You are free to copy and redistribute the published material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt: You may remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercially.
  • Attribution: You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
  • ShareAlike: If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.

2. Author Copyright Retention & Press Authorization

Authors retain full copyright of their work. However, upon accepting a manuscript for publication, the authors grant DScholar Press International an exclusive license for initial publication, distribution, and commercial sales rights in both print and digital formats.

Prior Written Permission Requirement for Republication:

While authors retain full copyright of their work, any subsequent republication, reproduction, or redistribution of the published work (in whole or in part) in commercial compilations, translated volumes, or third-party book editions requires prior written permission from DScholar Press International.

3. Repositories and Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post the published version of their work in institutional repositories, academic networks, and personal websites following official publication, provided that full citation details and the active Digital Object Identifier (DOI) link back to the press website are included.

4. Permission Requests

To request formal permission for commercial republication, translation, or distribution rights beyond standard CC BY-SA 4.0 usage, please submit a written application detailing the scope and intended use to the press editorial office at publisher@dscholarpress.com.
