Non-Peer Reviewed Books | Submission & Publishing Guidelines
When an author submits a manuscript and chooses the Non-Peer-Reviewed Books category, the work undergoes an internal editorial evaluation rather than an external double-blind review process. This stream is designed for scholarly works, instructional literature, professional guides, institutional reports, or creative academic content that do not require external academic peer review prior to publication.
Step-by-Step Submission Process for Authors
- Account Registration / Login: Register for an account on the submission portal or log in if you already have an active author account.
- Start New Submission: Access your Author Dashboard and click Submit a Manuscript to launch the step-by-step submission workflow.
- Select Submission Type & Language: Choose Non-Peer-Reviewed Books as the category, pick your manuscript's primary language, and agree to the submission checklist and policies.
- Upload Submission Files: Upload your main manuscript file (.docx format with author details intact) and any supplementary materials, covers, or supplementary files.
- Enter Metadata: Provide complete book metadata, including the full title, subtitle (if applicable), abstract, keywords, subject categories, and target audience details.
- Add Author & Contributor Profiles: Input complete author names, institutional affiliations, contact emails, and ORCID iDs directly into the metadata section.
- Review and Finalize: Confirm all entered information and uploaded documents for accuracy, then click Submit to send your manuscript for editorial evaluation.
Editorial Review Process
Unlike peer-reviewed manuscripts, non-peer-reviewed submissions are processed through an expedited internal editorial review:
- Scope & Quality Assessment: The handling editor reviews the manuscript to ensure alignment with press standards, publication ethics, and language clarity.
- Technical & Plagiarism Check: The manuscript is screened for similarity standards, proper citation practices, and document integrity.
- Expedited Timeline: Authors receive a final editorial decision significantly faster, allowing for rapid publication schedules.
Publication Options Upon Acceptance
Once a manuscript passes internal editorial review and is accepted for publication, authors retain full control over its distribution model and physical presentation. Authors can select their preferred access model and publication format:
Access Models
- Open Access: Free, unrestricted global access to the digital edition, maximizing citations, readership, and academic reach.
- Subscription Access: Available to readers, institutions, and libraries through traditional purchase or subscription options.
Format Combinations
- E-Book Only: Digital release (PDF/EPUB) with a dedicated DOI and e-ISBN.
- Print Book Only: Physical edition available in Paperback or Hardcover with a Print ISBN.
