Version Control Policy
DScholar Press International maintains a structured version control system to ensure transparency, traceability, and integrity of all published scholarly works. Any updates, revisions, or modifications made to a manuscript after submission or publication are clearly documented and managed through controlled version tracking.
Each version of a manuscript is assigned a clear revision status, ensuring that readers can distinguish between original submissions, revised versions, and final published records. Minor editorial changes such as formatting, typographical corrections, or metadata updates are recorded without altering the scholarly content, while major revisions are subject to editorial review and approval.
For published works, any updated version is linked to the original record to preserve the publication history and ensure transparency in academic communication. Previous versions are retained in the archive where applicable, except in cases governed by legal or ethical requirements.
This policy ensures accountability, maintains the integrity of the scholarly record, and aligns with international publishing standards, including COPE guidelines.
