Retraction Policy
DScholar Press International issues a retraction when a published work is found to contain serious errors, ethical violations, or instances of research misconduct that invalidate its findings or compromise its integrity. Retractions are also issued in cases of plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, or clear breaches of publication ethics.
The decision to retract a publication is made by the editorial board following a thorough investigation, in accordance with COPE guidelines. Authors may be consulted during the process, but the final decision rests with the publisher to protect the integrity of the scholarly record.
A retracted article remains part of the permanent scholarly record but is clearly marked as retracted. A retraction notice is published and linked to the original work, explaining the reason for retraction to ensure transparency and accountability. The original content is not removed unless legally required.
Retractions are issued to maintain academic integrity, safeguard research quality, and uphold trust in scholarly communication.
