Misconduct Investigation Policy

DScholar Press International treats all allegations of research or publication misconduct with seriousness, confidentiality, and due process. Misconduct includes, but is not limited to, plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, duplicate submission, unethical authorship practices, citation manipulation, and violation of publication ethics.

Upon receipt of a credible allegation, the editorial office conducts a preliminary assessment to determine the validity and scope of the concern. If necessary, the case is escalated to a designated ethics committee or senior editorial authority for a formal investigation. The process follows principles of fairness, transparency, and impartiality in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Authors and relevant stakeholders may be contacted to provide explanations, supporting data, or clarifications during the investigation. All proceedings are handled confidentially to protect all parties involved and to preserve the integrity of the review process.

Based on the findings, appropriate actions may be taken, including rejection, correction, retraction, or other editorial measures as deemed necessary. The primary objective of this policy is to uphold academic integrity and maintain trust in the scholarly publishing process.
