Manuscript Preparation and Submission Guidelines for General Books
Dscholar Press International welcomes submissions for a wide variety of General Books. These works are non-peer-reviewed and are published in both e-book and print formats. All titles are assigned an e-ISBN, ISBN, and DOI, and are indexed in global databases, including Google Scholar.

1. Category-Specific Guidelines
Fiction (Novel-Length)
Includes Literary, Historical, Contemporary, Mystery & Thriller, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Romance, and Young Adult. Manuscripts should be formatted for standard book-length reading, typically starting each chapter on a new page.
Short Form Collections
Includes Short Story Collections and Anthologies. Please ensure each story or contribution begins on a new page. Include a Table of Contents listing each piece and its author (if an anthology).
Poetry & Spoken Word
Includes Poetry Collections, Chapbooks, Experimental Poetry, and Spoken Word Collections. Use appropriate line breaks and stanza spacing. Ensure consistent indentation for verse and clearly label individual poems in the Table of Contents.
2. General Preparation Guidelines
- File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx).
- Page Setup: A4 page size, 2.5 cm margins on all sides.
- Font: Standard serif font (Times New Roman or Garamond), 12-point.
- Spacing: 1.5-line or double-spacing (especially for poetry).
- Page Numbering: Consecutive, bottom center or top right.
