Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

DScholar Press International is the publishing imprint of DScholar Research Consultancy and Analytics (OPC) Private Limited, India. The Press is committed to publication ethics, editorial integrity, transparency, and professional responsibility throughout the publishing process. It publishes scholarly works that contribute to research, education, and knowledge dissemination across academic disciplines.

DScholar Press International publishes books, scholarly monographs, edited volumes, conference proceedings, journals, working papers, research reports, and print and electronic publications. The Press publishes both peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed manuscripts. The review status of every publication is clearly indicated on the publication page and in the publication metadata.

Peer-reviewed publications are evaluated by independent experts through the peer review process adopted for the publication, including single-blind, double-blind, or open peer review where applicable. Editorial decisions are based on originality, scholarly merit, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and relevance to the aims and scope of the publication.

Non-peer-reviewed publications undergo editorial assessment by the editorial team. Editorial assessment considers the relevance, quality, originality, clarity, compliance with the Press's publishing standards, legal requirements, and ethical requirements. These publications do not undergo external peer review, and this status is clearly disclosed on the publication and in its metadata.

Authors must submit original work that is not under consideration by another publisher unless disclosed during submission. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the information presented, obtaining permissions where required, acknowledging contributors, and citing all sources. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, redundant publication, data fabrication, data falsification, image manipulation, citation manipulation, and paper mill submissions are regarded as publication misconduct and may result in rejection, correction, retraction, withdrawal, or other editorial action.

Editors are responsible for maintaining confidentiality, ensuring impartial editorial decisions, and avoiding conflicts of interest. Editorial decisions are made without discrimination based on nationality, gender, institutional affiliation, ethnicity, political beliefs, or religion. Editors shall recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where a conflict of interest exists.

Reviewers are expected to evaluate manuscripts objectively, maintain confidentiality, disclose conflicts of interest, provide constructive comments, and refrain from using unpublished information for personal benefit.

The Press investigates allegations of publication misconduct in accordance with its published policies. Where appropriate, corrections, errata, corrigenda, expressions of concern, retractions, or withdrawals are issued to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record. Authors, reviewers, editors, and readers may submit complaints or report suspected misconduct through the procedures described in the Complaints and Appeals Policy.

Authors are required to disclose conflicts of interest, funding sources, ethical approvals, informed consent, and data availability where applicable. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, and integrity of their work, including any content generated or assisted by artificial intelligence or other digital technologies.

DScholar Press International reviews its publication ethics policies periodically to ensure consistency with international publishing standards and recognized best practices. The Press follows the principles and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies these principles across all publication types. The same ethical standards apply to both peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed publications, although the editorial evaluation process differs according to the publication type. The Press is committed to maintaining integrity, transparency, accountability, and trust in every stage of scholarly publishing.
