Ethical Approval Policy
DScholar Press International requires that all research involving human participants, animal subjects, or sensitive data must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional regulations. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their research has received prior approval from a recognized ethics committee, institutional review board (IRB), or equivalent authority, where required.
Manuscripts must include a clear statement confirming ethical approval, including the name of the approving body and reference or approval number, where applicable. For studies involving human participants, authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained in accordance with relevant ethical guidelines. For animal studies, authors must confirm adherence to internationally accepted welfare standards.
If ethical approval is not required for a particular study, authors must explicitly state this and provide a justification in accordance with institutional or national guidelines. The editorial team reserves the right to request supporting documentation or clarification regarding ethical compliance at any stage of the review or publication process.
Failure to comply with ethical approval requirements or providing false or misleading ethical statements may result in rejection, correction, or retraction of the manuscript, depending on the severity of the issue.
This policy ensures the protection of research subjects, maintains academic integrity, and aligns with international ethical publishing standards, including COPE guidelines.
