Duplicate Submission Policy
DScholar Press International does not accept duplicate or simultaneous submissions. This policy applies to all publications, including peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed books, scholarly monographs, edited volumes, conference proceedings, working papers, and research reports. Authors are required to submit manuscripts exclusively to DScholar Press International while the manuscript is under editorial consideration.
A duplicate submission occurs when the same manuscript, or a substantially similar manuscript, is submitted simultaneously to more than one publisher, press, journal, conference, or other publication outlet without full disclosure and prior agreement from all parties involved. Duplicate submission also includes manuscripts that differ only in title, format, or minor revisions while presenting substantially the same content.
At the time of submission, authors must confirm that the manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere. If any part of the manuscript has been submitted, published, presented, or is under review in another publication or repository, authors must provide complete disclosure to the editorial office. The editorial team will determine whether the submission is eligible for consideration.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors are aware of and agree that the manuscript is submitted exclusively to DScholar Press International. Authors must not submit the manuscript to another publisher until a final editorial decision has been communicated or the manuscript has been formally withdrawn from consideration.
Where duplicate submission is suspected, the editorial office may suspend the review or editorial assessment process while the matter is investigated. Authors may be requested to provide explanations or supporting documentation. If duplicate submission is confirmed before publication, the manuscript will be rejected. If it is identified after publication, the Press may issue a correction, expression of concern, retraction, or other appropriate editorial action.
Submission of revised versions of the same manuscript to multiple publication outlets without disclosure, or submission of substantially overlapping manuscripts intended to obtain multiple publications from the same research, may also be treated as duplicate submission or redundant publication and investigated under the Press's publication ethics policies.
DScholar Press International recognizes that publication of conference abstracts, theses, dissertations, preprints, or institutional repository versions may be acceptable where permitted by the Press's policies and where full disclosure is made at the time of submission. Authors must clearly identify such prior dissemination to enable an informed editorial decision.
Failure to comply with this policy may result in rejection of the manuscript, withdrawal of an accepted manuscript, retraction of a published work, notification of the authors' institutions or funding organizations where appropriate, and restriction of future submissions to the Press.
DScholar Press International maintains this policy to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record, ensure efficient use of editorial and peer review resources, and promote responsible and ethical scholarly publishing.
