DOI Policy
DScholar Press International assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to published scholarly works to ensure persistent identification, reliable citation, and long-term accessibility. DOIs are assigned to eligible publications such as peer-reviewed books, edited volumes, conference proceedings, working papers, and research reports, where applicable.
DOIs are registered through Crossref, a recognized DOI registration agency for scholarly publishing. Each DOI provides a permanent and unique identifier that links directly to the official version of the publication, ensuring stable access even if the website structure or hosting platform changes.
All DOI metadata submitted to Crossref includes essential bibliographic information such as title, authorship, affiliation (where applicable), publication date, abstract (if available), and licensing details. This metadata is maintained to support indexing in academic databases, library systems, and discovery platforms.
Once assigned, a DOI remains permanently associated with the publication and will always resolve to the current location of the content. If a publication is updated, corrected, or revised, metadata is updated accordingly to maintain version integrity and citation accuracy.
DOI assignment is conducted in accordance with Crossref guidelines and international scholarly publishing standards. The use of DOIs enhances transparency, improves discoverability, and supports integration with global academic indexing systems.
