Data Protection Policy
DScholar Press International is committed to ensuring the secure handling, processing, and storage of all personal and institutional data collected during the publication process. This Data Protection Policy outlines the measures adopted to safeguard data integrity, confidentiality, and lawful use in accordance with internationally accepted best practices.
All personal data collected from authors, reviewers, editors, and users is processed solely for legitimate publishing purposes, including manuscript submission, peer review management, editorial communication, and publication dissemination. Such data may include names, email addresses, institutional affiliations, ORCID identifiers, and submission-related metadata.
The Press implements appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized editorial and technical personnel involved in the publication workflow.
Personal data is not sold or used for commercial purposes unrelated to publishing activities. Data may only be shared with third-party service providers strictly for essential publication functions such as hosting, indexing, DOI registration, or archiving, and only under appropriate confidentiality safeguards.
Authors and users are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate and up to date. Requests related to data access, correction, or removal may be addressed by contacting the editorial office, subject to legal and operational requirements.
This policy aligns with international data protection principles and COPE guidelines to ensure ethical, transparent, and responsible management of scholarly publishing data.
