Corresponding Author Policy
The corresponding author acts as the primary point of contact between the authors and DScholar Press International throughout the submission, review, editorial, and publication process. This role applies to all publications, including peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed books, scholarly monographs, edited volumes, conference proceedings, working papers, and research reports.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that the manuscript submitted to the Press is complete, accurate, and compliant with all editorial, ethical, and formatting requirements. This includes verifying that all co-authors have reviewed the final version of the manuscript, approved its submission, and agreed to its publication. The corresponding author is also responsible for ensuring that authorship information is correct and that all contributors who meet authorship criteria are properly included.
The corresponding author is responsible for managing all communication with the editorial office on behalf of all co-authors. This includes submission of the manuscript, responses to editorial queries, coordination of revisions, submission of required documents, and communication of editorial decisions to co-authors. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors are informed of editorial developments in a timely manner.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all required disclosures are complete and submitted at the time of submission. This includes conflict of interest declarations for all authors, funding statements, ethical approval information where applicable, acknowledgements, ORCID identifiers, and any permissions required for copyrighted material included in the manuscript.
The corresponding author must ensure transparency in authorship and contributorship. Any changes in authorship, including addition, removal, or reordering of authors, must be communicated to the editorial office and must include written agreement from all authors involved. Authorship changes after acceptance are subject to editorial approval and are not automatically permitted.
The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring compliance with publication ethics and research integrity requirements. This includes ensuring that the manuscript is original, that data and findings are accurately represented, that ethical approvals and informed consent have been obtained where required, and that all sources are properly cited.
The corresponding author must ensure that any use of artificial intelligence or generative tools in manuscript preparation is disclosed where applicable and that all AI-assisted content is reviewed and verified for accuracy and integrity prior to submission.
The corresponding author is also responsible for coordinating timely responses to editorial and reviewer comments. Failure to respond within specified deadlines may result in delays, withdrawal, or rejection of the manuscript.
DScholar Press International recognizes the corresponding author as the official representative of the author group for all editorial communication. However, responsibility for the content, accuracy, and integrity of the manuscript remains shared among all authors.
