Consent to Publish Policy

DScholar Press International requires that authors obtain appropriate consent for publication when manuscripts include identifiable personal data, images, case details, or any material that could reveal the identity of individuals or organizations. Authors are responsible for ensuring that all necessary permissions are secured before submission.

For research involving human participants, informed consent must be obtained for participation as well as for publication of any identifiable information. This includes photographs, clinical details, case studies, audio/video recordings, or any other material that may directly or indirectly identify individuals. Where applicable, authors must confirm that participants were informed about the scope of publication, including online dissemination and long-term archival access.

In cases involving minors or legally protected individuals, consent must be obtained from a parent, legal guardian, or authorised representative in accordance with applicable laws and institutional guidelines. Authors must retain documentation of consent and provide it to the editorial office upon request.

If identifiable data cannot be fully anonymised, explicit written consent for publication is mandatory. Manuscripts lacking appropriate consent may be rejected or withdrawn at any stage of the publication process.

This policy ensures respect for privacy, protection of individual rights, and compliance with international publishing ethics standards, including COPE guidelines.
