Conflict of Interest Policy

DScholar Press International is committed to maintaining transparency, integrity, and objectivity in all stages of the publishing process. A conflict of interest arises when personal, financial, institutional, or professional relationships could influence—or be perceived to influence—editorial decisions, peer review, or publication outcomes.

All authors, reviewers, and editors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest at the time of manuscript submission, review, or editorial handling. This includes financial interests, institutional affiliations, personal relationships, academic competition, or any other factors that may affect impartial judgment.

Authors must clearly declare funding sources and any relationships that could be perceived as influencing the research or its interpretation. Reviewers must recuse themselves from evaluating manuscripts where a conflict of interest exists or where impartial review cannot be guaranteed. Editors must avoid handling manuscripts where conflicts may compromise fairness and must delegate such submissions to an alternative editor.

Failure to disclose relevant conflicts of interest may result in rejection, correction, or retraction of the published work, depending on the severity of the omission. All disclosures are handled with confidentiality and are used solely to ensure transparency and integrity in the publication process.

This policy applies to all publication types and is enforced throughout the editorial and peer review workflow to uphold ethical publishing standards in accordance with COPE guidelines.
