Complaints and Appeals Policy
DScholar Press International is committed to handling all complaints and appeals in a fair, transparent, and timely manner. Authors, reviewers, and readers may submit complaints related to editorial decisions, peer review processes, publication ethics, or any aspect of the publishing workflow by contacting the editorial office with complete details and supporting information.
All complaints are acknowledged and reviewed by an independent member of the editorial team who was not involved in the original decision. Where necessary, the matter may be escalated to the editorial board or an ethics committee for further investigation. The publisher ensures that all concerns are assessed objectively and without bias.
Appeals against editorial decisions must be based on clear evidence of misunderstanding, procedural error, or substantive scientific concern. Decisions may be upheld, revised, or reassessed following review, but appeals do not guarantee acceptance or reversal of the original decision.
The process is designed to ensure accountability, uphold academic integrity, and maintain trust in the peer review and publication system, in alignment with COPE guidelines.
