1. Ownership of Copyright

Authors submitting to the International Review of Public Policy and Administration (IRPPA) retain the copyright of their work.

By submitting a manuscript and upon acceptance for publication, authors grant the journal the right of first publication.

2. Licensing Terms (Open Access)

All articles published in IRPPA are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this license:

  • Users may share, copy, redistribute, adapt, and build upon the work in any medium or format

  • Use is permitted for any purpose, including commercial use

Provided that:

  • Appropriate credit is given to the original author(s)

  • Proper citation of the journal and source is included

  • Any changes made are clearly indicated

3. Author Rights

Authors retain the right to:

  • Reuse their work in future publications (e.g., books, chapters, institutional repositories)

  • Share the published version on personal or institutional websites

  • Deposit the article in open-access repositories

  • Use the work for teaching and academic purposes

Proper acknowledgement of the original publication in IRPPA must always be provided.

4. Author Declarations

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:

  • The work is original and has not been published previously

  • The manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere

  • All listed authors have approved the submission

  • Proper citations and acknowledgements are provided

  • All necessary permissions for copyrighted materials (figures, tables, data, images) have been obtained

  • The work complies with ethical standards and research regulations

5. Rights Granted to the Journal

The authors grant IRPPA and DScholar Press International the right to:

  • Publish, reproduce, and distribute the article

  • Archive and preserve the work in digital and print formats

  • Include the article in indexing, abstracting, and database services

  • Promote and disseminate the article globally

These rights are granted while authors retain copyright ownership.

6. Third-Party Content

Authors are responsible for ensuring that any third-party material included in their work:

  • Has appropriate permission for reuse

  • Is properly credited and cited

The journal does not assume responsibility for copyright violations by authors.

7. Responsibility for Content

Authors remain fully responsible for:

  • Accuracy and integrity of data

  • Ethical compliance of the research

  • Proper attribution of all sources

The Publisher and Editor shall not be held liable for any claims arising from the content of published articles.

8. Self-Archiving Policy

IRPPA supports open access and allows authors to:

  • Archive preprints and postprints

  • Share the final published version (Version of Record)

All versions must include proper citation to the published article.

9. Retraction and Corrections

The journal reserves the right to:

  • Retract, correct, or update articles in cases of ethical violations or errors

  • Issue expressions of concern where necessary

All actions are taken in accordance with ethical publishing standards.
